AYYA’s Anniversary Trust is a Leap of Faith

One year ago, AYYA stepped into the world with the conviction that interior architecture is more than beautiful spaces and objects. It is a narrative. An identity. It is an extension of ourselves. 

AYYA was not born in a moment. It was forged over decades of travel, exploration, change, and transformation. 

In Beirut, resilience becomes instinct. 

In Dubai, innovation becomes culture. 

In Chicago, expression becomes freedom. 

Reflecting back on this past year, it feels like a lifetime of experience meeting a single moment of courage. 

I started AYYA to destroy the boundaries between refined design and bold self-expression. To design spaces as a true and authentic expression of their users: intentional, provocative, and deeply personal. Our approach holds firm. Trends become tools, emotions become the narrative, and design is the architecture of a new identity. 

This year has been pivotal. The higher you plan to build, the stronger the foundation must be. 

Within the first nine months, we grew to an incredible team of professionals that are primarily focused on building strong relationships. A diverse and balanced team of thinkers, designers, strategists, and creators - we are the people that help transform ambition into execution, and visions into reality. With a shared value of integrity, honesty, and individuality, we are focused on building relationships that are nothing less than that. From design to operations to marketing and communication, Team AYYA is equipped with the tools and perspective to make a meaningful impact. Reclaiming authorship within an industry filled with intruders. 

Our shared values have strengthened our existing relationships and opened the door to new and meaningful ones. To the people who choose to work with us, who believe in making a difference, to our clients, I am grateful and humbled. Collectively, we are committed to creating spaces and designs that push the envelope from the conventional toward the inspiring. We have successfully completed 9 projects and kicked off the development of 11 ongoing projects set to be revealed in 2026.

This year has been foundational in building systems, structures, tools, and the discipline required to meet daily challenges while staying focused on our long-term vision.

Our narrative-driven designs change worlds. Because without narrative, design falls flat. 

This year we launched our service offerings: Four design service tiers crafted to meet a range of project needs. What unites those tiers is our DNA creation. Where we take our clients on a journey of discovery and transformation. 

The anticipation for what is coming in 2026 is bigger than ever.

Refining and elevating what we already do is a daily commitment. We continue to do what we do and do it better every day.

The most significant milestone ahead is the launch of our Atelier. A dedicated space for functional and decorative objects. A destination for furniture, decor, found objects, and exclusive artwork. A space where our ethos is manifested into shapes and forms with integrity.

It took time to put into words what this past year has held. Writing this blog and reflecting on our achievements, success, and opportunities, I am forever grateful to my team who share the vision that I see ahead. I am humbled to be at this point in my life and career, and I am thankful to the friends and clients who trusted us with their homes and spaces. 

AYYA thrives on collaboration. Internal and external.
